PRESS RELEASE
Manitou announces the amendment of its credit agreement into a Sustainability Linked Loan
Ancenis, December 08, 2022 - Manitou announces the signature of an amendment of its credit agreement put in place in July 2022 qualifying the financing as a Sustainability Linked Loan.
As agreed with the banking pool in July 2022, Manitou has defined and attached to the Revolving Credit Facility 3 criterias linked to its low Scope 3 carbon trajectory, the health & safety of its employees and its sustainable procurement. Annual objectives, in line with the group CSR policy, have been combined with a mechanism of margin adjustment.
This amendment of the credit agreement has been put in place with the partnership of its entire banking pool and especially with HSBC Continental Europe as CSR agent, Banque CIC Ouest as Documentation Agent and Société Générale as Agent.
Michel Denis, President & Chief Executive Officer, said: "With the amendment of our credit agreement as a Sustainability Linked Loan, Manitou Group enlarged its CSR commitment in financing. This amendment strengthens our ambitions in terms of energy transition and financially commits the company to achieving its CSR objectives".
Manitou Group was assisted by Jennifer Hinge from the law firm NH Law.
