Sentara Healthcare Selects Mach7 for Data Migration Project

• Mach7 sign deals with Sentara for US$1.8m for data migration project

Melbourne, Australia; 17 November 2017: Mach7 Technologies Limited ( Mach7 or the Company ) (ASX:M7T) today announced Sentara Healthcare has selected Mach7 to handle data migration for their enterprise image management modernization initiative.

Sentara Healthcare (Sentara) signed a deal worth US$1.8m to manage a data migration of over 20 million imaging studies to Mach7’s Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) storage solution. Sentara needed a solution that could consolidate all its imaging data across 4 healthcare regions. The Mach7 managed migration will consolidate more than 20 million images to its centralised Mach7 VNA as part of this project.

Trent Conwell of Sentara said: “We were looking to standardize and centrailize our imaging infrastructure and Mach7 was the best choice to assist us with this project. Mach7 will manage this large data migration, not only transferring the data, but also cleansing the data and automatically normalising it to local standards.” Conwell added “We like the control and visibility that we’ll have with the migration including a reporting and real-time dashboard to give us real-time updates on progress. With Mach7, we’ll have the ability to control the migration schedule so that network traffic is not impacted during times of high need.”
