3DM enters into Reseller Agreement for eUnity medical image viewer

  • 5-year initial term global Reseller Agreement

  • Provides synergies to Mach7 Technologies Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA)

  • Expands 3DM’s capability to value-add medical image data

  • Expect to announce initial revenues next quarter

3D Medical Limited (ASX:3DM) ( 3DM or the Company ) has entered into a Reseller Agreement ( Agreement ) with Client Outlook™ Inc. for the distribution of their eUnity™ medical image viewing and collaboration platform.

Under the terms of the Agreement, 3DM has been appointed for an initial five-year term to distribute Client Outlook Inc.’s medical image software products globally and generate fees based on the number of radiology images examined through the software.

Since 2009, the eUnity medical image viewing solution has been used internationally across hundreds of clinical sites and handles millions of medical imaging exams, each year in all modalities and in clinical specialisations such as radiology, cardiology and neurology.

eUnity provides healthcare professionals a way to view diagnostic quality images and reports and collaborate in real-time using a web browser without the need to install specialized software. eUnity is fast, simple for clinicians to learn, and quick for the entire healthcare enterprise to adopt. eUnity’s intelligent viewer is context aware, based on the data being viewed, it provides clinicians with smart access to the right tools, when they need them, improving patient outcomes.

eUnity supports workflows in a wide variety of clinical settings and leverages a client’s existing PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and VNA (Vendor Neutral Archive) providing a highly scalable, flexible and secure architecture.

“The combination of solutions that 3DM is putting together represents an evolution in healthcare” said Brenda Rankin, Executive VP of Client Outlook. “Providing a streamlined approach to disparate and diverse solutions using best of breed and cutting edge technology will help clinicians care for their patients. We are very excited to be working with the 3DM and Mach 7 team.”

Dr Nigel Finch, Chairman of 3DM said “eUnity provides an excellent capability extension to Mach7 Technologies Vendor Neutral Archive allowing medical imaging data to be effortlessly archived, stored and viewed across large enterprise environments. This agreement is another example of the work that 3DM is doing on building out its strategy of value-adding medical image data and will provide additional synergies with our merger with Mach7 Technologies. We look forward to announcing the first sales under this new Agreement.”
