Convertible Notes
Dear Sir/Madam,
Safety Medical Products Limited (‘ SafetyMed ’) (ASX: SFP) is pleased to announce that the maturity date of 7,000 of the 7,750 convertible notes have been extended from 4 June 2009 to 31 July 2010. Noteholders will continue to receive interest of 90 days bill swap reference rate plus a margin of 500 basis points per annum.
The owners of 500 of the remaining 750 convertible notes will make a decision on their direction following a board meeting at the end of June.
The owner of the remaining 250 convertible notes has elected to be repaid in full; the total repayment will amount to $25,000, being $100 per Convertible Note.
