Dear Sir/Madam,

LISTED OPTIONS EXERCISABLE AT 25 CENTS EXPIRE ON OR BEFORE 31 JANUARY 2010

Safety Medical Products Limited (“SafetyMed”; ASX Code SFP) advises that 1,115,000 listed options in the Company (“SFPOB”) are due to expire on 31[st] January 2010.

SafetyMed have successfully applied to the ASX for a waiver of Listing Rule (“LR”) 6.24 whereby SafetyMed will not send an Option Expiry Notice to each SFOB option holder.

The basis of the waiver application was the price differential between the current share price being $0.042 on 23[rd] December 2009 and the SFOB option exercise price of $0.25 per option.

The following information is provided in accordance with paragraph 6.1 of Appendix 6A:

  1. The exercise price of the SFPOB Option is $0.25 per option.

  2. The due date for payment of the SFPOB Option is Sunday, 31[st] January 2010.

  3. SFPOB Options not exercised by 5:00 pm EST 31[st] January 2010 will expire, as a consequence that Option will lapse with no value and no further entitlements will exist.

  4. Quotation of SFBOP Options will end on 21[st] January 2010.

  1. SFP shares last traded at $0.042 being the last trade on Wednesday 23[rd] December 2009.

  2. The highest and lowest market price of shares in the three months immediately before this notice was as follows:

Highest $0.065 22ndSeptember 2009
Lowest $0.040 9thNovember 2009

If the market price of SafetyMed’s ordinary shares exceeds $0.20 before 31[st] January 2010 the Company will immediately send an Option Expiry Notice to each SFPOB Option holder.
