NON-RENOUNCEABLE RIGHTS ISSUE – UNDER SUBSCRIPTIONS

Safety Medical Products Ltd wishes to advise that the non-renounceable rights issue announced on 21 September 2007 closed on 19 October 2007 with a total of 1,948,833 shares applied for by shareholders, raising approximately $545,673.
Under subscriptions totalled 5,142,054 shares.
The Company reserves the right, within three months of the Closing Date, to issue the shortfall at the discretion of the Directors.
Confirmation of allotment and despatch of shares and attaching options will be advised to ASX in due course in accordance with the Listing Rules.
