Resignation of Managing Director
Melbourne, Australia; 16 March 2017: Mach7 Technologies Limited ( Mach7 ) (ASX: M7T ), a recognised leader in the enterprise imaging market, today announced the resignation of its Managing Director and Global CEO, Albert Liong.
Albert Liong stated: “I’m proud to have led Mach7 from its early development stage days to the merger and listing on the ASX, and to $4.8 million of revenues for the half year ended 31 December 2016. With the Company now in a very strong financial position, I feel this is the appropriate time for me to step down and for the Company to find someone with the experience and skills to bring Mach7 to the next stage of exponential growth.”
The Board of Directors has regretfully accepted the resignation and at its request, Albert has agreed to stay on in the interim while the Company commences its search for a new permanent Chief Executive Officer. Korn Ferry has been appointed to start the CEO search immediately.
Damien Lim, Chairman of the Board, said: “On behalf of the Company, I would like to thank Albert for his significant contributions to Mach7 and bringing us to a leadership position in the marketplace. We are transforming rapidly to a sales focused organization and gaining traction. The Board will ensure priority in finding a new CEO while minimizing the handover period.”
