PRE-EARNINGS GUIDANCE FOR 1Q 2022

(UNAUDITED OPERATING STATISTICS)

LG Electronics Inc. (the ''Company'') is pleased to announce certain unaudited operating statistics

of the Company and its subsidiaries (the ''Group'') for the 1st quarter of 2022 as follows.

In the 1st quarter of 2022, the Group's consolidated sales amounted to KRW 21,109.1 billion (as

compared to KRW 21,008.6 billion in 2021.4Q and KRW 17,812.4 billion in 2021.1Q), representing

a quarter-on-quarter increase of 0.5% (QoQ 0.5%) and a year-on-year increase of 18.5% (YoY

18.5%).

The Group's consolidated operating income amounted to KRW 1,880.1 billion (as compared to KRW 677.7 billion in 2021.4Q and KRW 1,767.3 billion in 2021.1Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter increase

of 177.4% (QoQ 177.4%) and a year-on-year increase of 6.4% (YoY 6.4%).

With the official closure of the LG Mobile Communications Company in the 2nd quarter of 2021,

the unit's earnings are not reflected in this quarter's earnings report and are treated as

discontinued operating losses.
