Jameson Resources Limited (Jameson or the Company) has today received notice in accordance with Section 671B of the Corporations Act 2001 from ANZ Nominees Limited that as at April 1, 2008 it holds 2,635,000 Jameson shares (or approximately 10.3% of the Company’s issued share capital) on behalf of Opes Prime Stockbroking Limited (Receivers and Managers Appointed)(Administrator Appointed).

The Company cannot confirm that all of these shares are the subject of Margin Lending Facilities.

Opes Prime Stockbroking Limited (Receivers and Managers Appointed) (Administrator Appointed) has not lodged a substantial shareholder notice.

The Company’s Chairman Mr Jeff Bennett holds 500,000 fully paid ordinary shares in the Company. This holding is held through an account with Opes Prime Stockbroking Limited (Receivers and Managers Appointed)(Administrator Appointed).

The Company confirms that no other director holds shares in the Company through an account with Opes Prime Stockbroking Limited (Receivers and Managers Appointed)(Administrator Appointed).
