Jameson Resources Limited (“Jameson” or the “Company”) is very pleased to announce that the British Columbia Ministry of Energy and Mines has issued all outstanding coal licenses for the Crown Mountain coal project.
The coal licences (418150, 418151, 418152, 418153 and 418154), cover an area of 2,588 hectares in the Elk Valley coal field, which is home to five of Canada’s operating hard coking coal mines.
The issue of these licences is a significant milestone for the Company as it advances exploration and development on its western Canadian coal projects.
Permits for exploration are expected in advance of the proposed drilling program which is scheduled to commence in July 2012.
