First Tranche of Placement Completed

Dear Sir

Jameson Resources Ltd (“Jameson” or “the Company”) advises that the proceeds of the First tranche of the placement to raise up to $1,344,000 in total have been received.

The Second tranche of the placement will be closed following shareholder approval to be sought at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 13 December 2011.

The proceeds of the placement are planned to be used to fund the initial exploration and development of the Dunlevy, Crown Mountain, and Red Earth Projects.
