The 2009 Annual General Meeting of Investor AB approved the proposal to authorize the company's Board of Directors to decide on the purchase of the company's own shares for the purpose of hedging Investor's commitments and costs in connection with its 2009 long-term sharebased remuneration program for employees and the issue of synthetic shares as part of board remuneration. Investor hereby announces that the company's board has decided to utilize the authorization for these purposes.
The shares will be purchased on the Stockholm Stock Exchange (Stockholmsbörsen) before June 10, 2009 at a price within the registered share price interval on each occasion.
Investor currently owns 2,483,800 of its own B-shares and intends to buy back an additional maximum amount of 2,500,000 B-shares.
