INTERPUMP ACQUIRES BERMA

Sant'Ilario d'Enza (RE), 11 November 2021 – Interpump Group announces the acquisition, through its subsidiary Reggiana Riduttori, of BERMA, a company based in Gazzuolo (Mantova, Italy)

Berma manufactures reduction gears specifically designed for transportation belts, and spreading devices, used for the distribution of solid organic fertilizers. It is a leader in its niche on the Italian market, but also has a strong vocation to export (USA, Canada, Germany).

The company is characterized by excellent results and constantly high margin. The expectation of sales for 2021 is above 20 million euro, with a projected EBITDA margin in the neighborhood of 30%.

The deal envisages the acquisition of a 100% stake. The agreed enterprise value is equal to 32 million euro, plus 29,598 Interpump Group shares from the treasury reserve.

Members of the seller family will keep contributing to the success of the company.

Chairman of Interpump Group Fulvio Montipò commented: "After Reggiana Riduttori, Transtecno and DZ, Interpump continues the reinforcement of the power transmission business area, with the acquisition of a specialized player, known for a solid brand, very good product quality, and excellent profitability".
