Toms Grīnbergs appointed as Chief Risk Officer at INDEXO Bank

As of today, July 15, Toms Grīnbergs joins the management team of AS INDEXO Bank as the Chief Risk Officer. From 2020 to 2024, T. Grīnbergs served as the Head of Risk Management and Chief Risk Officer at Industra Bank, and prior to that, he spent nearly five years as Head of Credit at Danske Bank’s Latvian branch.

Toms Grīnbergs’ professional development is closely tied to his work at Danske Bank’s Latvian branch, where he held various positions related to lending and risk management from 2008 to 2020. In 2020, he joined Industra Bank as Head of Risk Management and later as Chief Risk Officer, a role he held until August 2024. Subsequently, T. Grīnbergs worked as a consultant on financial projects, including initiatives related to the European Union’s InvestEU program. 

T. Grīnbergs holds a master’s degree in economics and business from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands, as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Latvia. 

Toms Grīnbergs' candidacy for the position of Member of the Management Board and Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of INDEXO Bank will be submitted for approval to the Latvijas Banka.
