PRIMA BIOMED APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR TO THE BOARD

Australian health care company Prima BioMed Ltd (ASX: PRR) (Prima) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Albert Yue-Ling Wong to the Company’s Board as a Non-executive Director.

Mr Wong is a corporate adviser and investment banker with more than 28 years experience in the finance industry and brings a strong depth of corporate expertise and investment market experience to the Board of Prima.

He has previously established a number of companies and held Board positions with a range of companies across different sectors. He was formerly a stockbroker for 21 years, having been admitted as a Member of the Australian Stock Exchange in 1988, and was a principal of stockbroker Intersuisse Limited together with Andrew Forrest. In 1995, he established and listed the Barton Capital group of companies, including eStar Online, on the ASX.

Mr Wong was also a founding Director of both Pluton Resources Limited and Gujarat NRE Resources NL. Currently he is a Non-executive Chairman of Doughboy Enterprises Limited and St Istvan Gold Limited and a Non-executive director of Lahoca Resources Limited.

He is widely involved in a number of philanthropic activities. These include; current directorships of UNSW Foundation Limited, which is the principal fund raising arm of The University of New South Wales, and Ian Thorpe’s Fountain for Youth Foundation. He is also a committee member of the Messel Endowment Capital Campaign, and is an Honorary Life Governor of the Science Foundation for Physics at the University of Sydney.

Mr Wong is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and is a Practitioner Member (Master Stockbroking) of the Stockbrokers Association of Australia, as well as a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
