Board Changes at PrimaBioMed

Monday 3[rd] September 2007, Melbourne, Australia: Prima Biomed Limited (ASX: PRR) today announced that Dr John Sime has resigned from his position as non-executive director of the Company. Dr Sime has been Chairman of Prima BioMed’s Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee.

In his letter of resignation Dr Sime reflected on the considerable technical advances that have been made over the past two to three years in bringing CancerVac to successful completion of a Phase 2a ovarian cancer trial and in adding value to Oncomab. The executive team and the Board have achieved much in that period by rigorously focusing on identifying the sources of real value for both patients and shareholders and can be proud of the results delivered to ovarian cancer patients in that trial and the vista of hope that the early results open up for women diagnosed with that dreadful disease. Dr Sime sincerely hoped that the planned sale of the company or its assets will result in those assets ending up in the hands of a team which can take the technology forward to deliver the early promise to afflicted women worldwide and, in the process, deliver value to those patient shareholders who have shared our vision. He wished the Company every possible success for the future.

Dr Sime was of the opinion that his experience in the pharmaceutical industry could not add any further value in the current situation of the planned trade sale of the Company or its’ assets.

The Board would like to thank Dr Sime for his significant contribution to Prima BioMed since his appointment as a director of the Company in April 2005.

The company is currently finalising arrangements to appoint a replacement director and expects to make an announcement in that regard shortly.
