TRAVELAN® SUBMITTED FOR REGULATORY APPROVAL IN CANADA
16 May 2012, Melbourne, Australia : Australian biopharmaceutical company Immuron Limited (ASX: IMC), manufacturer of Travelan®, has been informed by its Canadian licence partner, Paladin Labs Inc. that it has submitted Travelan to Health Canada for regulatory approval. Paladin Labs’ submission is currently undergoing screening for completeness and quality of the dossier. Upon confirmation of screening acceptance, Health Canada will commence its regulatory review.
Travelan is clinically-proven with efficacy in over 90% of consumers who use it to prevent the main cause of travellers’ diarrhoea. Canadians are well known to be global travellers and Travelan is therefore anticipated to be a successful addition to this sophisticated market.
