Company Announcement

Anadis Limited Appoints The Bank of New York Mellon as Depositary for its U.S. ADR Program

Friday 14 December 2007

NEW YORK, December 14, 2007 – Anadis Limited, an Australian biotechnology company (ASX:ANX), has selected The Bank of New York Mellon as the depositary bank for its American depositary receipt (ADR) program. Each Anadis Limited ADR represents twenty ordinary shares. The ADRs trade on the Over-the-Counter market under the symbol “ANDIY”

Anadis Limited (www.anadis.com) is a world’s leader in polyclonal antibody-based health products. Anadis’ proprietary, rapid manufacturing technology has enabled it to develop a product pipeline of polyclonal antibody-based solutions to a range of important infectious and immune-mediated diseases. Products in the market and under development include a portfolio of Anti-LPS products (to fight against E.coli , Irritable Bowel Syndrome –IBS, Oral/ Gastrointestinal Mucositis and Inflammatory Bowel Disease- IBD) and other specific antibody-based solutions including a novel product containing anti-flu antibodies.

The all-natural dairy-derived platform, and its regulatory classification as GRAS (Generally Regarded as Safe) when administered orally allows for a significantly shorter time-frame from bench to market compared with typical biotechnology products. The platform also possesses dramatically lower manufacturing costs and higher scalability compared to typical antibody-based solutions.

“The ADR program is an another milestone in our plan to become a global leader in the biotechnology space” stated Dr. Zeil Rosenberg, the company’s CEO. “ The ADR program will enable us to further broaden our investor base in the U.S., enabling easier trading in our shares. It was only natural for us to choose the Bank of New York, the global leader in ADR programs to be our depositary receipts institution.”

The Bank of New York Mellon's Depositary Receipt business is conducted through The Bank of New York subsidiary, which acts as depositary for more than 1,290 American and global depositary receipt programs, acting in partnership with leading companies from 61 countries.
