From the CEO.

Dear Shareholder.

Welcome to the first newsletter of 2004. 2003 was indeed a busy vear for Anadis - and 2004 is shaping up to be even more successful. Our toll manufacturing throughput continues to grow, we continue to accelerate and expand our research and development pipeline and we are seeking further support from government

and commercial sources to drive this work. We will be launching Travelan shortly in

Melbourne and will be looking to expand bevond this initial base as quickly as possible into the rest of Australia and overseas We are also

looking at options for other products from our research process. To further support.

the company we have appointed Arie Nudel as our Investor Relations Officer to develop communications with the market. We are also redesigning our website for better delivery of information and this should be completed by early June Sincerely yours

Travelan in Production!

Bali belly, Montezuma's revenge, Delhi belly... they all mean the same thing; and for those of us unfortunate enough to have experienced travellers' diarrhoea, it is definitely not

pleasant! Travellers' diarrhoea is a sure way to ruin an expensive holiday or an important business trip, but until now there was little that could be done to prevent it. Travelan.

Anadis's first researchbased product, significantly reduces the risk of travellers' diarrhoea and the symptoms of gastrointestinal disorders

Anadis's first researchbased product, significantly reduces the risk of travellers' diarrhoea and the symptoms of gastrointestinal disorders

  • and is now in production for release in Melbourne in coming weeks.

Processing of colostrum for commercial production of this safe, natural preventive has already

begun,

packaging has been designed and product is on its way to be blister packed. Travelan is a breakthrough product for protection from $E$ , $\text{col } t$ infections. Travelan reduces the risk

of travellers' diarrhoea and the symptoms of gastrointestinal disorders. and can also reduce symptoms if travellers became infected before

beginning a course of treatment.

A continuing supply of antibodies is also assured, since none of the 1200 cows vaccinated as part of initial production trials with Tatura Milk Industries has shown any negative effects from vaccination. This means an unlimited number of cows can be vaccinated

for the next production mars.

There has been considerable interest generated for Travelan, both locally and overseas.

We are very excited about Travelan, the first of a number of products we will be releasing to the domestic and international markets in the near future.

Working with Australian and American defence forces on global biodefence research

Three years ago, Amidis initiated ground-breaking research into out using binding proteins to confer protection from pathogens that enter the body through the respiratory system.

That work has corre a long way in three years, Current research focuses on delivering short-term brotection to antifax and the preumonic form of plague - two diseases of immense historical significance, and two diseases of intriediate concern to military and security agencies around

the world:

This is a long-term project, but we at Anadis are very excited by the extraordinary amount of interest in this highly regarded project. It has attracted attention from respected scientists and government in Australia and internationally. A measure of that

attention is the \$786,000 Innovation Access Program Grant recently awarded to Anadis by the Australian Government tistally reserved for a cademic institutions, this important grant has been given to a

Feedback from Asia and other potential markets will play a major role in determining what form the commercial application of this research will take: if a nutraceutical is decided on we may have a product ready early in 2005.
