Completion of Acquisition of Oral Immune Modulation Technology

As announced on 20 April 2009, Immuron entered into a conditional agreement to acquire the rights to patent technology from Hadasit Medical Research Services & Development Limited to develop novel methods in the treatment of certain chronic diseases. Shareholders subsequently gave their approval to proceed with the acquisition at an Extraordinary General Meeting held on 9 July 2009.

I am pleased to announce that all of the conditions in the contract have been met and Immuron has finalized the acquisition. Immuron has also executed the required services and consulting agreements for the ongoing development of the technology.
