IMMURON CEO TO RESIGN AS OF 28 FEBRUARY

Melbourne, Australia, 22 February 2013 : Immuron Limited (ASX: IMC) announces that its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Mr. Joe Baini, will resign from these roles effective from 28 February 2013 due to personal circumstances and the need for him to devote time to these.

Mr. Baini will continue to act as an external advisor to the company in relation to current commercialization activities, including the live opportunities currently being pursued by Immuron.

In his two year tenure as CEO, Mr. Baini has transformed Immuron. Drawing on his extensive pharmaceutical industry experience he re‐structured the company so that today it has the expertise, processes and discipline necessary to develop, manufacture and commercialise its products. Through his leadership, he facilitated the changes to the company’s Board of Directors, a board that today features a robust skill set, including directors with extensive industry expertise, experience and networks.

Mr. Amos Meltzer, Immuron’s Vice President, Business Development, will assume the role of interim CEO. Mr. Meltzer has been integral to the company’s transformation and will now lead the company’s growth strategy.

Dr Roger Aston, Immuron’s Chairman said: “The Board fully supports Joe’s decision and understands the imperatives behind it. We deeply appreciate Joe’s contribution. His leadership over the last 2 years will enable us to crystallize the great potential harbored within this company’s technology and products. It is ironic that as a result of the transformation, the company has finalised significant licence agreements for multiple territories, has substantially better production, regulatory processes and infrastructure, yet this has not been reflected in the company’s share price performance. I believe this will change, thanks to Joe’s and his team’s efforts and Amos’ leadership.”
