Appointment of New Non-Executive Director – Stephen Anastasiou
Immuron Limited [ASX:IMC] (the Company) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Stephen Anastasiou to serve as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.
Mr Anastasiou; B.Sc(Hons), Grad. Dip MKTG, MBA, has over 20 years’ experience in general management, marketing and strategic planning within the healthcare industry.
His breadth of experience incorporates diagnostics, ethical, hospital, dental and OTC products, with companies including the international pharmaceutical company Bristol Myer Squibb.
As a management consultant with KPMG Peat Marwick, Mr. Anastasiou has previously led project teams in a diverse range of market development and strategic planning projects in both the public and private sector. He is also a director and shareholder of a number of unlisted private companies, covering a variety of industry sectors that include healthcare and funds management.
Mr Anastasiou’s companies have participated in several corporate transactions involving business units and brands of multinational and Australian companies.
The Board wishes to formally welcome Mr Anastasiou to the Company, and further recognise that his extensive healthcare market experience will further strengthen the Board’s capabilities.
