Schurter AG acquires Danielson from Hydratec NV

Hydratec NV (Amersfoort, Holland) and Schurter Holding AG (Luzern, Switzerland) hereby announce that they have signed a heads of agreement under which Schurter will acquire the full ownership of Danielson Europe, a 100% subsidiary of Hydratec NV. Parties hope to reach a full agreement and complete the transaction as soon as possible

Danielson Europe is a leading developer and producer of Man Machine Interfaces with sales of approx. € 20 mio. across Europe.

Schurter AG, a privately owned company founded in 1933, has successfully developed itself into a leading global electronic components manufacturer and distributor, with annual turnover of approx. Sfr. 180 mio, employing approx. 1,500 employees.

One of the Schurter AG companies is itself a key player in the MMI industry. Also the global position of Schurter in electronic components offers substantial benefits. They simply offer excellent longer term possibilities for Danielson."

All personnel, the workers council, the Social and economic council (SER) and the unions are today informed about the planned transaction.

Parties have agreed not to provide details about the financial compensation of the transaction, which is expected to be finalized within the coming month.
