PRIMARY INSIDER NOTIFICATION

Reference is made to the announcement made by Hexagon Composites ASA (the "Company") on 27th February 2019 regarding the successful completion of a private placement (the "Private Placement").

Mitsui & Co., Ltd. ("Mitsui") has been allocated, 4,167,000 shares in the Company at a subscription price of NOK 29.6 per share.

Following the share purchase Mitsui will hold 45,833,321 shares in the Company, corresponding to 27.51% of the outstanding shares. When the 16,662,780 new shares to be issued in connection with Private Placement in order to settle the share lending arrangement has been issued by the Company, Mitsui will hold 25.01% of the outstanding shares.
