upgrades operating performance Hansen forecast

Hansen Technologies Limited (ASX: HSN), today announced that, based on internal management accounts, HSN expects the EBITDA for Fiscal 2007 will be in the range of \$8 million to \$8.5 million representing approximately 50% improvement over the \$5.5 million last year. We are forecasting a Profit before Tax in the range of \$4 million to \$4.4 million compared with \$0.3 million last year.

This outlook is based on an across the board improved performance in virtually all business units and geographic regions in which Hansen operates.

Andrew Hansen, CEO of HSN, said:" I am pleased to be able to confirm that the previously advised, anticipated improved performance in the second half, has eventuated. Our investment in proprietary technological solutions and customer relationships is delivering the desired outcome. We are maintaining our position of strength in the Australian markets and growing our presence in the UK. The recently announced new projects with AGL and Australian Pipeline Trust in Australia and Tesco Mobile Telecommunications in the UK will position us for a strong start to fiscal 2007/8".
