The Hon. Richard Alston appointed High Commissioner in London and resigns from Hansen Technologies Board

Hansen Technologies Limited (Hansen) wishes to congratulate one of its Non-executive Directors, The Hon. Richard Alston, on his appointment to the position of Australia's High Commissioner in London.

Mr Ken Hansen, Chairman said, "We wish to sincerely commend Richard on his appointment to this significant position of representing Australia's interests in the UK. We appreciate, as a consequence, that this will necessitate Richard's resignation from our Board in order to fully oursue his new responsibilities.

We have enjoyed Richard's presence on the Board and have appreciated his valuable contributions during his time as a Director. We thank Richard for his service to Hansen and wish him the very best in his future challenges."

The Hon Richard Alston said, "I tender my resignation with considerable regret. I am proud to have been a part of the Hansen experience. I have been very impressed by the calibre of my fellow Board members and the senior executive team and I wish them every success in the future."

Mr. Alston's resignation will be effective as of today but he remains a shareholder of the Company.

The Company intends to pursue a replacement independent director and will advise in due course.
