Hansen Technologies Signs Contract with Weverhaeuser Australia
MELBOURNE, 20 March 2003...Hansen Technologies Limited (Hansen), a listed information systems and services group, today announced that its subsidiary Hansen Professional Services Pty Ltd (Hansen Professional Services) has been awarded a contract to deliver outsourcing services to Weyerhaeuser Australia Pty Limited (Weyerhaeuser Australia).
Weyerhaeuser Australia is a subsidiary of the Weyerhaeuser Company, an international forest products company engaged in the management of 5.2 million acres of commercial forest land in the United States, New Zealand, Australia, and Uruguay.
Under the contract Hansen will provide host administration and management (Unix), disaster recovery and application support services.
Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Andrew Hansen, Managing Director of Hansen said,
