Energy Australia chooses Hansen's HubFM for entry to Victorian gas and electricity market
MELBOURNE, 14 May 2003 Hansen Technologies Limited (ASX:HSN) today announced that its HubFM solution has been chosen by Energy Australia to support the company's entry to the Victorian retail gas and electricity market.
Energy Australia is one of Australia's largest energy retailers with 1.4 million customers
Andrew Hansen, managing director of Hansen, said that HubFM will provide Energy Australia with a comprehensive, cost-effective and ready-to-go billing service.
"This is a significant contract for Hansen, confirming our position as a tier one supplier in the energy industry. Our HubFM outsourced billing service enables suppliers to compete quickly and effectively in the deregulated industry without heavy up-front IT infrastructure investment." Mr Hansen said.
Hansen's HubFM outsourced billing service provides a fully integrated billing, operational support and customer care solution from its data centre in Doncaster. Victoria.
HubFM utilises Hansen's proprietary Hub billing system designed specifically for use by telecommunications, and utility companies in deregulated markets.
