Hansen Appoints Chief Financial Officer

MELBOURNE, 4 December 2002...Hansen Technologies Limited (Hansen), a listed information systems and services company, today announced the appointment of Grant Lister as Chief Financial Officer for the group.

Commenting on the appointment, Andrew Hansen, Managing Director of Hansen, said:

"Grant comes to Hansen with a wealth of experience across a number of geographic locations including the United States, United Kingdom and Europe, and South East Asia. He has been involved in a broad spectrum of businesses ranging from start up companies through medium sized Australian businesses to the CFO of a US\$250 million Asia/Pac division of a multi national IT company.

"His appointment broadens the depth of experience of our executive management team, and we look forward to his contribution to Hansen."
