Halma, the FTSE 100 global group of life-saving technology companies, today announces the appointment of Hudson La Force as an independent non-executive Director, with effect from 2 June 2025. Hudson will also be a member of Halma's Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.

Hudson brings a wealth of industrial and international experience from his executive and non-executive positions, as well as his time in the public sector .  He is currently an Advisory Board Member at Madison Industries and a non-executive director at Madison's largest portfolio companies: Madison Air; and Filtration Group Corporation.

Hudson's executive career culminated in his role as Chief Executive Officer at W. R. Grace & Co., a US-headquartered specialty chemical manufacturer, from which he retired in 2021. His career began at Arthur Andersen. In 1997, Hudson joined Dell Technologies Inc . and served as General Manager at Dell China from 2002-2005. Prior to joining W.R. Grace & Co., he worked for the US Department of Education as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Counsellor to the Secretary.
