ANNOUNCEMENT RESIGNATION OF DIRECTORS
The board of directors (the "Board") of Far East Hotels And Entertainment Limited (the "Company") announces that Mr. Desmond Chiu ("Mr. Chiu") resigned as Executive Director and Deputy Managing Director of the Company with effect from 18 February 2009 due to his intention to devote more time to his other businesses. Mr. Tang Sung Ki ("Mr. Tang") accordingly ceased to act as alternate director to Mr. Chiu with effect from 18 February 2009. Mr. Chiu and Mr. Tang have confirmed that they have no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter relating to their resignations that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.
The Board would like to take this opportunity to express its sincere gratitude to Mr. Chiu and Mr. Tang for their valuable contribution to the Company as directors during their tenure of office.
