RESIGNATION OF CHAIRMAN
Greenwing Resources Ltd (ASX:GW1) (the ‘Company’) advises that its non-executive chairman, Mr Rick Anthon has resigned from the Board effective today.
Peter Wright, Executive Director said: “On behalf of the Board and staff, I would like to thank Rick for his dedication and service to the Company over more than 15 years during which time the Company acquired and advanced its two key battery minerals assets being the Graphmada Graphite Mine in Madagascar and the San Jorge Lithium Brine Project in Argentina. He has made an invaluable contribution and will be missed.”
The Company also advised that current non-executive director Mr James Brown has been elected as non-executive Chairman of the Company effective today.
Mr Brown is an experienced mining company executive with over 40 years' experience in the mining industry in Australia, United States, Africa and Indonesia, including the last 14 years in the Managing Director role at Morella Corporation Limited and 13 years as Executive Director at Sayona Mining Limited. Mr Brown has successfully sourced, developed and operated numerous key global projects with a focus on lithium and battery materials.
