COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT

The following is a Company Announcement issued by GO p.l.c. ("the Company") pursuant to the Listing Rules as issued by the Listing Authority in accordance with the provisions of the Financial Markets Act (Chapter 345 of the Laws of Malta) as they may be amended from time to time.

The Company announces that it has executed an agreement (the "Agreement") with PCCW Global Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong with registered office at 39th Floor, PCCW Tower, Taikoo Place, 979 King's Road, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong ("PCCW Global").

PCCW Global, together with third parties, is working towards constructing, maintaining and commercializing an extension trunk system on/to a new, state-of-the-art and highspeed fibre optic submarine cable system with branches to a number of countries.

In terms of the Agreement, the Company will acquire, from PCCW Global, the title and ownership and/or indefeasible right of use of submarine and land infrastructure connecting Malta to France and Egypt as well as associated operational and maintenance services, subject to the terms and conditions of the Agreement.

The Company already has a wealth of experience in operating sub-sea systems and has been preparing its local infrastructure in anticipation of this investment.
