COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT

The following is a Company Announcement issued by GO p.l.c. ("the Company") pursuant to the Listing Rules as issued by the Listing Authority in accordance with the provisions of the Financial Markets Act (Chapter 345 of the Laws of Malta) as they may be amended from time to time.

In view of the current events, the Company wishes to reassure all stakeholders that it has been actively preparing for the COVID-19 virus outbreak for a number of weeks. The Company has monitored the situation closely and is updating its policy and contingency plan in line with developments and recommended measures being issued by Government from time to time.

At GO, the safety of staff members, clients and their respective families remains its top priority, as is the need to remain digitally connected under such critical conditions. In this context the Company announces that it has undertaken a number of initiatives as follows:

• Set up a response team that has planned out every possible scenario and put in place respective action plan for each scenario. Plans are being effectively implemented as the situation evolves. The response team continues to meet remotely on a regular basis;
• The Company's policy is to work remotely and reduce as much as possible the level of physical interaction, including that with clients, in line with Governments efforts to reduce social interaction as much as possible;
• Strengthened its online channels, and is actively directing customers to these channels of communication, in order to facilitate communication and ensure uninterrupted business operations whilst also safeguarding the financial situation of the Company;
• Activated the necessary health and safety measures throughout the Company's premises including, but not limited to the several outlets across the island;
• The Company has also activated a number of CSR initiatives including offering free TV content to its existing clients, as well as its TV App to non-GO clients, for free in order to encourage the public to stay at home. It has also extended a bundle of free minutes, SMS and data to frontline response staff. GO has also reached out to its clients stranded in 'travel banned' countries.
