Appointment of Paul Hardie as General Counsel & Company Secretary
Globe Metals & Mining Limited (ASX: GBE) (Globe or the Company ) is pleased to advise that Mr Paul Hardie has been appointed as General Counsel and Company Secretary with immediate effect.
Mr Hardie is a commercial lawyer with more than 20 years’ legal and corporate experience and is the principal and founder of Hardies Lawyers. In addition to advising and acting for public companies across a range of sectors including mining and resources, construction, and financial services, Mr Hardie has extensive public company experience in both non-executive and executive leadership roles. Mr Hardie is presently General Counsel and Joint Company Secretary of ASX-listed Matrix Composites & Engineering Limited and holds both a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics.
Commenting on the appointment, Globe’s Chief Executive Officer Grant Hudson stated:
“We are extremely pleased that Paul has joined the Globe executive team. His legal knowledge and experience, and his many years advising, acting for and leading public companies will be of great benefit to Globe as we move towards our ambition of being the fourth operating niobium mine in the world today, and the first new niobium mine for over fifty years.”
Mr Fry will remain with Globe as its Chief Financial Officer.
