GTG Grants Nine-Year Non-Coding License to GENOSENSE

Genetic Technologies Limited (ASX: GTG; NASDAO: GENE) is pleased to report it has now granted a license to its non-coding patents to GENOSENSE Diagnostics GmbH, based in Vienna, Austria.

The nine-year license covers the world-wide activities of GENOSENSE in relation to human genetic diagnostics and analysis. The precise commercial terms of the license granted to GENOSENSE are covered by confidentiality.

GENOSENSE is a leading anti-aging and preventive genetic diagnostics company.

GENOSENSE was the organiser of a special workshop on genetic diagnostics in preventive medicine in October 2006, at the 1^st European Congress on Anti-Aging and Preventive Medicine, held at the Hofburg Congress Centre, in Vienna. GTG's Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mervyn Jacobson, attended the Congress as an invited guest of GENOSENSE.

Dr. Jacobson was pleased to note that the relevance of GTG's non-coding DNA patents was recognised by a number of delegates from companies that produce preventive genetic diagnostics products.
