Correction to Change of Substantial Shareholder Notice for AIX lodged on 22 July 2008
On 22 July 2008, Westpac Banking Corporation (WBC) lodged a Notice of Ceasing to be a Substantial Holder in relation to Australian Infrastructure Fund Limited (AIX) (“the Notice”).
The Notice was lodged in error. Westpac Banking Corporation has not ceased being a substantial shareholder of AIX.
The transactions set out in the Notice were correctly described, but do not constitute a movement of 1% or more in the holdings by Westpac Banking Corporation (WBC) since the prior notice of initial substantial holder was lodged with the ASX on 23 June 2008. Therefore neither a change nor a ceasing to be a substantial shareholder notice should have been lodged in relation to WBC holding in AIX.
