AIX announces extension of debt facility

Australian Infrastructure Fund (AIX) has today successfully completed the refinancing of its fund debt facility for a two year term expiring on 21 August 2013. The revised terms of the facility, provided jointly by ANZ and Westpac, include an increase in its size from $30 million to $100 million, greater flexibility in the purposes to which the facility can be applied, and a reduction in fees and margins consistent with current market levels.

AIX Chief Executive Officer, Jeff Pollock, said, “The revised facility continues to remain undrawn, however it provides AIX with a greater flexibility to respond to investment opportunities as they arise."
