September 2009 quarterly passenger numbers for AIX Australian airports
AIX today announced passenger numbers for the quarter to 30 September 2009 in respect of the Australian airports in which it has an ownership interest. Passenger numbers for the prior corresponding periods (pcp) are also provided for comparison.
The Australian airports represent 77.5 percent of the AIX portfolio by value, and experienced an increase in passenger traffic of 5.6 percent for the quarter ended 30 September 2009, when weighted by AIX’s interest. For the same airports, passenger growth for the month of September was 8.9 percent when weighted by AIX’s interest.
