Changes to the Board of Hastings Funds Management Limited

Hastings Funds Management Limited (HFML) as Manager and Responsible Entity for the Australian Infrastructure Fund (AIX) today announced the following changes to the Board of HFML.

Liam Forde has successfully completed a three year term as independent Chairman of HFML. As part of a Board leadership transitioning process, Alan Cameron, who joined the HFML board in April 2009, will now assume responsibility for the Chairmanship of HFML. Mr Forde remains an independent director, and will continue to chair Hastings Management Pty Ltd. The Board takes this opportunity to thank Mr Forde for his leadership during his term and looks forward to his continuing involvement.

In addition, Jim Evans and Les Vance have been appointed to the HFML Board replacing Alan Freer and Sean McElduff who will retire from the Board today. Alan Freer will continue to represent Hastings on a number of related entity boards.

Jim Evans is a highly credentialed executive with nearly forty years of corporate experience. Jim was previously the Chief Risk Officer, Wealth Management at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), a position he had held from 2003 – 2008. Previously, Jim held a number of senior roles at CBA, Lend Lease, GEC and Grace Bros.

Les Vance is currently Corporate Counsel – Secretariat and Corporate at Westpac Banking Corporation (WBC), a position he commenced in December 2008. Prior to joining WBC, Les held a number of senior executive roles at Investa Property Group and TAB Limited.

The HFML Board welcomes Jim Evans and Les Vance and thanks Alan Freer and Sean McElduff for their contribution.

There is no change to the Board of Australian Infrastructure Fund Limited.
