Jeff Pollock appointed as Chief Executive Officer of AIX
Hastings Funds Management (Hastings), the Responsible Entity for AIX, and Australian Infrastructure Fund Limited (AIFL) today announced that Jeff Pollock has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AIX commencing 21[st] April 2008.
Jeff brings a wealth of transport infrastructure expertise to Hastings through his previous work experience. Jeff has made a significant leadership contribution to BBI’s strategy, focussing on management and operations of infrastructure and utilities in the transport and energy sectors. Jeff also has broad experience in asset management with his role as a Director on a range of BBI subsidiary boards in the transport sector.
Jeff has previously worked for the international accounting firms, Ernst and Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers and was a Director of the Queensland Government’s Office of Energy, managing complex stakeholder relationships dealing with energy reform issues. Jeff has a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Glasgow, and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland since 1988.
Hastings’ Chief Executive, Steve Boulton said, “Jeff will create significant value for AIX. Jeff is an experienced transport infrastructure executive and provides an extensive working knowledge of transport assets. He also has strong funds management expertise and has worked on a number of successful M&A outcomes in his six years at Prime Infrastructure/BBI, delivering ongoing value to investors. Jeff’s exposure to the broader global transport infrastructure sector will complement the existing portfolio of AIX and will enhance the strong future growth opportunities which exist in the AIX business”
