Stephen Gibbs appointed to the Hastings Board
Hastings Funds Management Limited (Hastings) as responsible entity for AIX today announced that Stephen Gibbs has been appointed to the Hastings Board as a non-executive and independent director, with effect from 16 December 2008.
Stephen joins the Hastings Board following an extensive and successful career which included senior roles in industry, superannuation and investment management. Stephen was Chief Executive Officer of Australian Reward Investment Alliance (ARIA), a position he held from January 2000 until January 2008. During his eight year tenure, Stephen managed ARIA’s significant growth from approximately $10 billion in funds under management to nearly $20 billion.
Prior to his role at ARIA, Stephen was the Executive Officer of the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees and has previously held board positions with Boeing Australia Limited and Aerospace Technologies of Australia.
Stephen brings a deep knowledge of the issues facing investors, the management of asset portfolios and a range of other skills to the Hastings Board.
