NON-PROVISION OF BOARD CHARTER CORPORATE GOVERNANCE INFORMATION BY CANDIDATES
Further to the Notice of Annual General Meeting released to ASX on 28 April 2023, First AU Limited ( FAU or the Company ) (ASX: FAU) advises it has not to date received responses from any of the proposed directors nominated by shareholders to its requests for information and materials.
The Company has not been able to undertake the criminal history and insolvency searches and other background checks which would be expected to be completed for candidates for appointment as directors under the Company’s published Board Charter and corporate governance processes.
As a result, the Company is unable to provide shareholders with any further information that may be relevant to verification of any claimed experience or expertise, or to considering whether the candidates would satisfy and give effect to the applicable corporate governance criteria.
