Graphite drilling program completed

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Monax has completed its maiden drilling at its Waddikee graphite project in South Australia.

  • 40 holes totalling 00m completed.

  • Drilling undertaken on five prospect areas with graphite observed at all five prospects.

Monax Mining Limited (ASX: MOX) (‘Monax’ or ‘Company’) today announced it has completed its maiden graphite drilling program at the Company’s 100% owned Waddikee Project on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula (Figure 1).

The Waddikee Project (EL 4662) is located approximately 100 kilometres south-west of Whyalla, within an area that is becoming the premier graphite province in South Australia.

A total of 40 holes were drilled, totalling 2908 metres, across five prospect areas. Graphite was observed at all five areas and all samples have been submitted for analysis.
