Monax Receives Registered Native Title Agreement for

Punt Hill copper-gold project

HIGHLIGHTS

• Native Title Mining Agreement signed by the Kokatha Uwankara paves way for exploration at Monax’s Punt Hill copper-gold project located in northern South Australia.

Monax Mining Limited (ASX:MOX) is pleased to announce the Native Title Mining Agreement for Exploration (”Agreement”) signed by all registered representatives of the Kokatha Uwankara Native Title Claim has been registered by the government of South Australia.

The Agreement covers Monax’s Punt Hill project, north of Port Augusta, which comprises EL 4642 and EL 4548, and provides a template for Native Title claimants and Monax to work together to facilitate mineral exploration and provides protection for sites of cultural sensitivity.

“The registered Native Title Agreement with the traditional landowners is a significant step forward in the development of our Punt Hill project,” Monax Managing Director, Mr Gary Ferris, said today.

“Drilling of four high priority targets is planned to commence within the next two weeks” he said.
