Completed the transfer of the production activities from Pinerolo's plant to the industrial plant located in Forlì

Turin, June 17, 2020 – Fidia S.p.A., a world leader company in the design, production and distribution of high-performance integrated milling systems, primarily applied in the manufacturing of molds and dies, listed on the Star segment (MTA) of the Italian Stock Exchange, informs that the Company and the Unions signed an agreement concerning the closure of its plant located in San Secondo di Pinerolo.

All production activities will be transfered to the new plant in Forlì within the end of July and the employees will be relocated to the Headquarter in San Mauro Torinese, starting from August 1, 2020. On this same date the plant will no longer be active.

The planned and complex internal reorganization, started a few years ago with the construction of the new plant covering a surface of 8,800 sqm followed by its inauguration in November 2018, is now defined with the establishment of a centralized production and assembly site of machines.
