FAE TECHNOLOGY AND DIGIPROCES LAUNCH THE DIGIPROTO ELECTRONIC PROTOTYPING PLATFORM

EMERGING FROM A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE TWO COMPANIES AND OPERATING IN SPAIN AND PORTUGAL, IT MARKS FAE TECHNOLOGY'S STRUCTURED ENTRY INTO THE IBERIAN MARKET

The solution integrates hardware and software development and enables the configuration, quotation, and fabrication of complex prototypes of assembled electronic boards, accelerating the time to quote and start prototyping

The platform represents the first operational application of the collaboration with Spain's leading EMS services company, and lays the foundation for joint industrial and commercial developments

Gazzaniga (BG), March 18, 2026 - FAE Technology S.p.A. - Benefit Company ("FAE Technology" or the "Company"), Tech company and parent of the Italian electronics sector Group of the same name (the "Group"), announces the launch of DigiProto, a digital platform directly designed and developed for the configuration, quotation and prototyping of assembled electronic boards, to support the markets of Spain and Portugal.

DigiProto is the first operational application of the strategic partnership begun with Digiproces (see press release of December 19, 2025), among Spain's leading Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) companies. The agreement accelerates the joint provision of prototyping services targeting markets in the Iberian Peninsula, strengthening a structured industrial and commercial presence of FAE Technology in the region. The initiative enhances the digital expertise developed by the Group in electronic prototyping, laying the foundation for further joint developments between the two companies.

The platform enables the prototype configuration of assembled electronic boards through an integrated digital environment, providing advanced tools for design and component selection. Through DigiProto, real-time quotations can be generated and prototyping activities can be started, which are carried out through FAE Technology's prototyping facility. The solution integrates hardware and software development and supports the implementation of complex

architectures, helping to speed up the operational flow from customer request to the development and testing phases. In addition, the platform incorporates certified quality systems and ensures high standards of efficiency, traceability and compliance throughout the supply chain, with fully "EU-manufactured" output.

The initiative highlights FAE Technology's ability to integrate vertical engineering expertise, manufacturing assets and proprietary digital solutions into a scalability-focused operating model. The combination of digital platform and local industrial partnership enables accelerated access to electronic prototyping services, reducing time-to-market for customers and strengthening the Group's commercial presence in the Iberian Peninsula.

The experience initiated with DigiProto also represents a first step toward adopting an international expansion model based on replicable digital platforms and targeted industry partnerships in new geographic contexts.

Gianmarco Lanza, Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of FAE Technology, stated: "The partnership with Digiproces is a significant step in the Group's international development and confirms the appeal of our industrial proposal. The collaboration stems from a shared approach with the company's management, and also in terms of values and strategic vision. We believe that the integration of expertise and respective industrial capabilities can generate new growth opportunities and create value over time. In this context, the launch of DigiProto is the first concrete result of the collaboration initiated and an example of the development potential that may emerge from this joint initiative".

Jordi Batet, Chief Executive Officer of Digiproces, stated: "The launch of DigiProto represents an important step in bringing faster and more accessible electronic prototyping services to the Iberian market. By combining FAE Technology's digital capabilities with Digiproces' industrial expertise and local presence, we aim to simplify the prototyping process for engineering teams and accelerate the transition from design to manufacturing. This initiative reflects our shared commitment to innovation, quality and European-based production".

Digiproces, founded in 1987 and based in Barcelona, is an EMS service provider, with additional manufacturing operations in Bangalore. The Spanish parent company employs 220 people and reported revenues of Euro 42 million in 2024. The company's E2MS (Extended Engineering & Manufacturing Services) approach covers the entire product lifecycle, serving strategic sectors such as electric mobility, IoT, industrial automation, medical technology and aerospace & defense. Digiproces is recognized for its advanced expertise in electronic manufacturing processes and its commitment to digitizing industrial workflows, making it a complementary partner to FAE Technology's design, electronic development and digital innovation capabilities.
