N.V.’s, company reg. no. 804803778, Hulsterweg 82, 5912PL Venlo, the
Netherlands, announcement earlier today stating that the Recommended Public
Conditional Voluntary Offer on 19 April 2016 (the "Offer") will be completed
QIAGEN N.V. hereby announces that QIAGEN N.V. subsequently of the completion
and settlement of the Offer directly will hold 34,852,938 shares representing
app. 94.52% of the share capital and voting rights in Exiqon A/S, Skelstedet
16, 2950 Vedbæk, company reg.no. (CVR) 18984431 (the "Company"). QIAGEN N.V.
expects that the Offer will be completed and settled on Monday 27 June 2016.

This major shareholder announcement regarding the Company is made pursuant to
Section 29 of the Danish Securities Trading Act (værdipapirhandelsloven), cf.
the Danish Executive Order no. 1256 of 4 November 2015 on major shareholders
and Section 55, cf. Section 56, of the Danish Companies Act (selskabsloven).
