ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

The listed entertainment, hospitality and leisure operator Amalgamated Holdings Limited (“AHD”) today announced the acquisition of Moonlight Cinema for the purchase price of $1.75 million from Prime Media Group Limited.

Moonlight Cinema is an outdoor cinema operation with five sites screening films in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide during the three month summer season. The acquisition adds to AHD’s Australian cinema circuit which currently operates under the brand names of Event Cinemas, Greater Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle. Settlement of the transaction is expected to occur in approximately 6 weeks time, subject to certain conditions precedent being met.
