AMALGAMATED HOLDINGS LIMITED CLARIFIES MARKET SPECULATION REGARDING SYDNEY ATTRACTIONS GROUP LIMITED

The listed Entertainment, Hospitality and Leisure operator Amalgamated Holdings Limited (AHD) today confirmed that it does not have any interest in pursuing a counter bid for the takeover of Sydney Attractions Group Limited (SAQ).

A reference in The Australian Financial Review (Friday 28[th] September 2007, page 69) implies that AHD would be a likely contender for a rival offer. AHD confirms that it does not have any interest in pursuing a rival offer of any kind.
